Scott Harrington and Ryan Briggs had enjoyed near on twenty years in the music industry before forming the City Soul Project and have played numerous key events for promoters such as Subliminal Sessions, Defected in the House, Toolroom Knights, Kinki Malinki and for venues across the UK and Europe including Ministry of Sound, Turnmills, Cafe 1001, Brickhouse, Culture Box, Hush and Gaskessel to name a few.

Known for not following trends or pigeon holing their styles, they have stuck true to their roots and draw in influences from whom they believe to be the forefront leaders, such as; Mr Fingers, Frankie Knuckles, Marshall Jefferson, Masters at Work, Sandy Rivera, Jazz n Groove, Mood II Swing, Farley & Heller, Todd Terry, Kerri Chandler, Tony Humphries and its these very guys that influence them in what they do today and which is evident in their sound too.

With a string of successful releases and remixes for some of the industries key labels, including i Records, Blue Dye, Kolour, GrooveOn and 3am to name a few, the guys are pressing forward in to 2014 with their own imprint, City Soul Recordings which will be an exclusive outlet for their own production.
